Nols is the CEO of Carnivore Capital and spends his time analysing key investment strategies, opportunities and the investment portfolio. Nols’ engrained passion for business began during his BsC Property Studies which was obtained from the University of Cape Town. Whereafter he joined KJA Group Holdings (Pty) Ltd, a land and property development company. He later came to be the CEO of KJA Group Holdings (Pty) Ltd. Nols then further went on to complete is MBA at the Gordon Institute of Business Science. He is motivated by opportunities to create and increase value in business and his personal life. He is a “people’s person” and thrives in the company of others. He has over a decade of experience and expertise in the areas of residential, commercial and industrial development. His in-depth knowledge of the business environment is a key role player in the success and development of many projects undertaken by the KJA Group.

Christo Kok is a distinguished finance professional with over ten years of extensive experience in private capital-backed investments. His expertise encompasses managing significant transactions in mergers and acquisitions and specializing in debt and tax structuring. His strong foundation in financial reporting, transaction negotiations, and performance management of investments underscores his exceptional capabilities. Christo focuses on long-term value rather than short-term speculation, investing capital alongside investors to ensure aligned interests. Christo’s international experience spans diverse geographies such as South Africa, Poland, Hungary, Spain, Cyprus, and Australia. This global exposure has profoundly shaped his ability to lead diverse teams and integrate various cultural perspectives into successful business strategies. Educational background includes a Baccalaureus in Accounting (with distinction) and a Baccalaureus in Accounting Honours from the University of the Free State. He is also a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Chief Compliance Officer
Tidimalo obtained her Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Law (LLB). She has a post graduate certificate in Management Development Programme through the UNISA School of Business Leadership. Tidimalo is the co-founder and Chief Operations Officer of Mosong Capital (Pty) Ltd. She has wide-ranging experience in the public and corporate sectors. Tidimalo is the Director of several Boards and a member of the Institute of DIrectors (IOD). She was the former Chief Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Executive Director of Meropa Communications, the International Relations Officer : 2004 South Africa Olympic Bid Committee and Employee Wellbeing Manager for Eskom. Tidimalo’s vast business and board member experience provides an invaluable contribution to the Carnivore team.
Director and Chief Legal Officer
Mashile is a Lawyer by profession, a land reform activist and a seasoned and experienced former public servant who has held several influential positions in government since the mid-1990s. Until recently (2019-2020), Mashile worked as adviser to the Minister of Women, Youth and Persons with disabilities, in which role he played a critical role in bringing to the centre of government policy and giving voice to these vulnerable groups. In 2018-2019, Mashile served as Head of the Ministry of Land Reform and Rural Development. Mashile was one of the first generation of activists who developed and implemented South Africa’s land reform policies in the mid-1990s. In 2001, aged only 28, Mashile became the Regional Land Claims Commissioner for Limpopo, the youngest person to assume that position ever. In this role he worked to address the complex issues of land reform not only in Limpopo but the whole of South Africa and ensured that land was restored and just compensation paid to those who had been dispossessed of land through racially discriminatory laws. His commitment to social justice and the creation of a fairer society remains marked, and most of the policies he helped formulate on land restitution continue to define the land reform landscape to this day. Mashile has diverse interests and skills. He served in a variety of positions, including serving on the Audit Committee of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, Chairperson of the Limpopo Gambling Board and as Director of his own law firm, Mashile Mokono Attorneys. In addition to matters of land reform, Mashile has extensive experience in spatial planning and land use management and has been a member of the Tzaneen Municipal Planning Tribunal and a participant of spatial development justice as is prescribed by Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Act. Mashile also served as a member of the South African National Parks Board (SanParks) and various other governance structures in both the public and private space. He is currently serving as the Deputy Chairperson of the Mankweng Academic and Tertiary Hospital Board and a Director of various.

Moss is a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law (LLB) graduate with expansive business experience, having over 25 years experience in the corporate sector. He is the founder and Executive Chairman of Mosong Capital (pty) Ltd. Moss is the former CEO of South African Tourism and the Johannesburg World Summit on Sustainable Development and Moribo Leisure (Pty) Ltd. He is currently a Director and Chairperson of multiple boards. He has been awarded several prestigious Leadership Awards. His depth of knowledge and executive experience brings great value to the Carnivore team.
Head of International Trade and Investments
Zhangxi is a researcher and policy advisor on Sino-Africa relations. His research focuses on foreign policy, development aid, and economic cooperation across the Asian and African continents. He lends his expertise to formulating pragmatic strategies and practical solutions to Asian and African governments and businesses regarding their economic exchanges. He has a strong network in the Chinese administration and government, and nurtures strong relations with many African decision-makers. Zhangxi is also actively engaged with successful entrepreneurs from both China and Africa.
He has a PhD in International Relations from the University of St Andrews and has been a post-doctoral fellow at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. His academic work “China’s Aid to Africa: Does Friendship Really Matter?” was published by Routledge in 2017, amongst his many policy reports and solicited policy advice decision-making at government level. Zhangxi’s approach is to revolutionize the concept of development for developing countries, which he does by blending this expert understanding of both Africa and Chinese business and political cultures.
